The book of Philippians is the most practical, personal, and positive book of the Apostle Paul's repertoire. With little rebuke or reproving, this joyful epistle reads much like a love letter to fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. Although confined to a Roman prison, Paul revealed his optimistic attitude as he shared with his friends the wonderful reality of the all-sufficiency of Christ. The book of Philippians encourages, edifies, and exhorts, the believer to look for God's blessings even during the most difficult moments of life.
