History of Methodism Volumes 1 and 2 by Abel Stevens

A very nice, vintage 19th century set of book, "History of Methodism Volumes 1 and 2" by Abel Stevens.  The History of the Religious Movement of the Eighteeth Century called Methodism, considered in its different denominational forms, and its relations to British and American Protestantism, from the origin of Methodism through the death of George Whitefield unto the death of John Wesley in 1791.  1000 pages between both volumes.

Vol 1-shelf and age wear, owners name dated 1883. some writing underlining  but strong binding and pages. cover somewhat faded.  Vol 2- shelf and age wear, owners name dated 1883 very minimal writing or underlining but strong binding and overall clean pages.  cover strong.  a very nice 2-volume set.
