A very nice, vintage 1949 copy of the hardcover book, The Coming of the Glory" by John Shipley Tilley.  History is powerless to obscure the fact that the story of African slavery is an ugly blot on the United States.  Even so, the accused Southern whites are privileged to answer the indictment with the insistence that at the very least the required condemnation should include the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth.  The South and the Whites, being wearied of facing this condemation in the court of public opinion offer in this volume an answer to the reasonable demand that the complete Truth is known and that all who are responsible shall be apportioned their rightful portion of the blame.  A very thoughtful examination of the African Slave trade is offered here.  290 pages with Expedited Shipping!
