The fourth primer in the Christian Liberty Phonics Readers series, It is a Joy to Learn builds on the rules learned in the first three readers and is designed to be read after the child has completed a kindergarten phonics program. Thirty two-page lessons emphasize blends while teaching Christian values, and are intended to promote mastery of the phonics rules they have recently learned. Each story is preceded by practice words that highlight the appropriate phonics rules being presented.
