Description

Spanning the years and loves of service of Mrs. C.H. Spurgeon, this is a remarkable story. Susannah (Thompson) Spurgeon's greatest love and dedication was to the Lord, Himself. Her life was filled with service to Him and to the man whom the Lord had so wonderfully given to her to serve. She had struggles, trials and lonliness, but always, she had her Blessed Saviour to see her through.

God gave her a burden for all of the Preachers that she came across who did not have any books in their personal library. She founded the Book Fund to get a copy of her husband's book, "Lectures to My Students," in the hands of every minister in England. As others caught her burden, this ministry expanded, and she was able to send this and other books out frequently, receiving donations of money and books. God greatly blessed her faithfulness for Him.
