Description

A very nice, vintage collection, 10 volumes of the books, "The Church Year Pulpit Library (Volumes 2-11) of 12 Volume Set by Upper Canada Tract Society and the F. M. Barton Company.  Printed by the T. and A. Constable printers to His Majesty.  Sermons, sermon outlines and illustrations for Sundays and Holy Days.  Volumes appear to be from the early 1900th century or possibly late 18th century and have sun or light faded spines that a delicate, as well as having some volumes with acceptible binding that are a bit delicate also.  Overall pages are clean and strong, covers on some volumes are spotted but overall the covers are not light faded or brittle.  See pictures, additional pictures available upon reasonable request.

PARTIAL SET- 10 volumes of this extremely rare 12 volume set.  This set includes volumes 2 through 11; missing volumes 1 and 12. All volumes match in every respect other than that v.5 through 9 show the Upper Canada Tract Society as the printer, and the other four volumes show the F.M. Barton Company as the printer. All are Edinburgh University Press as Amazon details. Burgundy boards with expected wear but good condition for their age. Spines faded but intact, two volumes with small tears at top of spine, fine white library inking of codes and volume #'s on each spine, One-inch black X on v.10 spine; binding strong on 6 volumes, intact on two volumes but with splits inside at front and back; V.8 still strong in front, but partially separated at inside back, on all volumes pages show expected foxing, but no markings; overall unexpectedly good condition for age. Volume 7 has been scanned and is available as a classic reprint on demand, but if I might say so, the remaining volumes need to be preserved digitally as well.  Expedited Shipping!
