An excellent songbook full of foundation hymns of the faith that were popular at the Christian camp meetings which are multi-day revival gatherings focused on community, spiritual growth, and worship through preaching, prayer, singing, and fellowship. Historically, they were held on the American frontier and were a major component of the Second Great Awakening in the early 19th century, often centered around a central "tabernacle" where people would camp and listen to itinerant preachers.
