Description
Intended for children, this biography includes a picture on every page (drawn by Haylee's husband Blake), and a simple, often rhyming text.
Haylee is a missionary wife and mother who is passionate about her Savior and the Great Commission. It is her desire to cultivate a heart for world missions in the hearts of the next generation by sharing the stories of great men and women who gave their all to the Lord.
Joe and Tanna Collins surrendered their lives to the Lord at a young age and were committed to following Christ, no matter the sacrifice. They attended Tabernacle Baptist College in Greenville, South Carolina, where the Lord put a burden on their heart for Tibet. They decided to work with the Tibetan people of Nepal. It was a very dangerous and difficult place to share the Gospel. They labored there for two years, until Tanna became very sick after having twins. They flew to Thailand to seek medical help, and their returning flight to Nepal crashed into the side of a Himalayan mountain, killing everyone on board. Tanna's parents and brother surrendered to go to Nepal to take the place of Joe and Tanna. They helped to establish children's homes and churches.
Enjoy sharing their story with your children and encourage them to give their all to the Lord!
