When George Washington finished his inaugural oath at the end of his swearing in as the first President of the United States, he spontaneously and solemnly added, “So help me God.” Our nation is in desperate need! Just as Washington expressed his commitment to uphold the laws of the United States of America, so we must commit to speaking the truth of God’s Word in love while we still can.
